How to use PDF to JPG

  1. Open your PDF

Drop a PDF and every page is rendered as a preview, right in your browser.

  2. Choose pages and resolution

Select the pages you want and pick 1x (72 DPI), 2x (144 DPI) or 3x (216 DPI) output.

  3. Download the images

One page downloads as a JPG. Several pages come as a ZIP of numbered JPG files.

How to convert PDF pages to JPG images

Turning PDF pages into JPG images is handy when you need to post a page on social media, drop a slide into a presentation, attach a preview to a chat message, or use a page anywhere that accepts images but not PDFs. Drible renders each page with pdf.js, the PDF engine inside Firefox, entirely on your device.

Picking the right resolution

1x (72 DPI) is fine for thumbnails and quick previews. 2x (144 DPI) is a good default for sharing on screens, including high-density phone displays. 3x (216 DPI) gives the sharpest text for zooming in or printing small, at the cost of larger files. If you plan to crop a detail out of a page, choose 3x.

One page or many

Select all pages or just the ones you need. A single selected page downloads straight away as a JPG; multiple pages are bundled into one ZIP so you are not buried in download prompts. Files are numbered by page so they stay in order.

Good to know

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas become white. Text in the images is no longer selectable; if you need the words themselves, use Extract Text from PDF instead. To go the other way and turn images into a PDF, use JPG to PDF.
