How to use PDF to PPT

  1. Upload your PDF

Drop a PDF up to 20 MB. It is sent over HTTPS to our converter.

  2. We build the slides

LibreOffice turns each PDF page into a PowerPoint slide, with text and images as separate elements.

  3. Download the PPTX

Open it in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote. The uploaded file is deleted right away.

How to convert a PDF to PowerPoint

Slide decks are often shared as PDFs, which is great for reading but useless when you need to present, update or reuse them. PDF to PPT converts each page into a slide in an editable PPTX file, so you can change text, move images and add your own slides.

One page, one slide

Every page of the PDF becomes one slide, in the same order. Text and images are placed as separate elements where possible, so you can edit wording and rearrange content in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote.

What to expect

PDFs exported from PowerPoint or Keynote convert best, because their pages were slides to begin with. Complex effects, animations and custom fonts from the original deck are not stored in a PDF, so they cannot come back; you may need to reapply a theme. Scanned pages come through as images.

Your privacy

The file is sent over HTTPS to our server, converted, and deleted as soon as the result is sent back to you. A cleanup job also removes anything older than 30 minutes, so nothing lingers if a conversion is interrupted.
